Bad Beer Amnesty Week
Brickway Brewery is hosting “Bad Beer Amnesty Week” September 13 to the 19th. Bring in your unwanted 6 packs to exchange for Brickway brews. The beer collected will be put to use at the end of the week for a beer dunk-tank, slip and slide, and ‘watering’ a community garden. Hunger Calls For A Hero
Lenny’s Sub Shop at Midtown is striving to help the estimated 97,000 children who suffer from food insecurity every day. Lenny’s Subs have set a national goal of raising $25,000 in September for No Kid Hungry. Every dollar donated to the cause provides up to 10 meals for hungry children in our community.
