A total of 47 tickets are all that remain for this coming weekend’s annual Caffeine Crawl! This year will offer 5 route options, ensuring low congestion and a safe, fun time for all. Participating stops include Aroma’s Coffeehouse, Tea Smith, Mug Life, Accelerando, Archetype, Culprit Café, Omaha Bicycle Company, and Beansmith Coffee Roasters. Samples will include coffee, tea, fresh juices, and discretionary samples and pairings from several participating shops. A Delicious Kick in the Soul
Fusion fans, rejoice! Benson is now home to the American-Chinese-Soul eatery Bruce LeRoy’s Wok. Featuring some truly obscene dishes such as macaroni and cheese stuffed eggrolls, offal fried rice, and Kung Pao Okra, the menu is concise and inspired. The brainchild of proven forces in the food scene, Chef Rhett Peterson (formerly of Ika Ramen), and Brittany Chung (Formerly Taita), this is a one-two punch you’ll really want to step into.

Nibble for Nap – May
A few months ago we told you about Nibble for Nap, a program through the Nebraska Aids Project. The second Tuesday of every month, a featured restaurant will donate a portion of the evening’s sales to NAP. This month’s featured restaurant is Spaghetti Works, both the Old Market and Ralston locations. All you have to do is dine at Spaghetti Works for dinner next Tuesday to automatically support this very worthy cause!
