Omaha’s top food trucks will come together next month for a competition celebrating the area’s thriving culinary scene.
Omaha Food Truck Faceoff will be held Sunday, Sept. 13 from 4-9 p.m. at Kros Strain and Pint Nine Brewing Co in La Vista.
A press release stated five local food trucks will compete head-to-head by serving exclusive dishes created specifically for the event. Attendees will sample each dish before casting their vote to help determine the 2026 Champion.
“The Omaha Food Truck Faceoff is about celebrating the incredible talent within our local culinary community while creating an unforgettable experience for food lovers,” event organizer Jon Stastny said in the release. “Every ticket purchased supports local businesses and gives attendees the opportunity to discover new favorites while helping crown this year’s champion.”
Participants include Papillion Taco Guy, Tradish(ish), Pulled BBQ, Curry in a Hurry and Fifth Taste by Chef Gerald.
In addition to the food truck competition, guests can enjoy local craft beer from both host breweries, live music from Hector Anchondo and friends and both indoor and outdoor games designed to showcase the best of Omaha’s food truck community.
Tickets are available now and include one competition dish from each of the competing food trucks, along with the opportunity to vote for the winner. Food-inclusive tickets are limited and organizers are encouraging guests to buy tickets in advance.
