Appreciate Parks and Recreation

Lake Zorinsky Park
156th and F streets, Omaha

Whether you’re looking for exercise or just to get away from the din of city living, Lake Zorinsky – also known as Ed Zorinsky Recreation Area – is a nice place for escaping. Walkers, joggers, cyclists and four-legged friends can enjoy 7.8 miles of a looped trail that frames a beautiful lake.

Zorinsky boasts more than just an awesome trail. It includes fishing (at the designated dock) and makeshift baseball, soccer and football games. Bauermeister Prairie – one of the only tall-grass prairies native to and still standing in eastern Nebraska – is here for all nature lovers to admire.
