An Omaha company that provides fire protection and security services has been acquired by Zeus Fire and Security.
It was announced Thursday that SEi, a provider of security, fire protection, video surveillance, access control and monitoring solutions was being acquired by the Pennsylvania-based organization.

Elkins, chief executive officer of Zeus Fire and Security, said in a press release. “Their expertise in commercial security, video surveillance, access control, monitoring, fire systems and integrated technology solutions has made them a trusted partner for customers throughout the region. Their strong culture, talented team, and reputation for industry leadership make them an ideal addition to the Zeus family.”
SEi was founded in 1969 and provides security and life safety solutions, including intrusion detection, video surveillance, access control, fire alarm systems, monitoring services and integrated technologies. The company has been recognized for its work in complex commercial security environments across healthcare, education, financial services, government and commercial markets throughout the Midwest.
The acquisition strengthens Zeus’ position as a leading commercial fire and security provider by adding a strong market presence across Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. The acquisition will also create a new regional hub to support growth.
