Barrie’s classic play, Peter Pan . The timeless tale filled with pirate battles and fairy magic tells the story of the boy who never grew up and his adventures in Neverland. The Rose’s production will include the original flying wizardry seen in the 1950s productions with Jean Arthur and Mary Martin, as well as a live 12-piece orchestra providing an enchanting musical experience from exotic drumbeats and songs to the whimsical sounds of the beloved fairy Tinkerbell. A former Rose Theater performer, Samantha Shatley, returns from New York in the titular role, as well as a cast of 57 talented actors. A show filled with the wonder and magic of youth, Peter Pan is an enduring story that appeals to all ages.
