The Dish Section of the Reader will be starting a monthly column titled Food Focus. Each month, we will focus on one particular food item, place or trend for the sake of spreading information to our readers about the abundant food options in our area. The Dish team is asking for input from our readers and facebook followers to help us get Food Focus off the ground. We ask for your opinions, thoughts, and memories of places you have been to help us collect information for each focus. For the month of May, we are delving into Brunch spots, wanting to know “the what is what” when it comes to brunch.
Do you have a go to spot?
Can you share a go to menu item?
Where would you not go and why?
What do you look for in a breakfast spot?
You can reply online or join our facebook page at facebook.com/DishOmaha.

Next Month: June’s Food Focus will be about Meat, because we are sure that you will be purchasing some form of meat for your Summer cook-outs and Father’s day events. Where do you buy your meats? Who is your Butcher?  Do you have a Meat Handler? Are you using the Farmer’s Markets for your proteins as well as produce?  Please share with us at www. facebook.com/DishOmaha.
