Your Weekend, Up in Smoke

Curious what Omaha’s Top Chefs will be up to this weekend? They’ll be lighting up for a good cause. Smoke Out SMA for Presley will take place this Sunday from 11am to 8pm at HotShops at 1301 Nicholas. The family-friendly event will feature food, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and a raffle. Chefs will smoke what they want, how they want, and serve it beside whatever they want, and once you find out who the chefs are, you’ll be a lot more excited by that prospect. If you’re wondering what could get Omaha’s biggest chefs to gather in one place, you may be surprised that the cause is actually… quite small. As Presley Mae O’Doherty’s condition has progressed, her medical bills have begun to mount. Being but a wee bairn, asking her to get a job to help with her medical bills isn’t an option, and so chefs from the following spots have generously decided to donate their time and talent to her cause:
• Block 16
• Au Courant
• Dario’s
• Avoli
• Spencer’s
• Farine + Four
• The Boiler Room
• J.Coco
• Smokin Barrel BBQ
• Kano
• Pegler Sysco
• US Foodservice
• V.Mertz
• Dante
• Forno
• Jon’s Naturals
• Yoshitomo
• Murcury
• Nite Owl
