Today marks the grand opening celebration of Smokin Oak Wood Fired Pizza at Midtown. The restaurant features an open kitchen and a wall of 25 self-serve taps. Choose from beer, wine, ciders, and cocktails to partner with your cheese bread, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and signature or build-your-own pizzas. Stop by today at 220 S 31st Ave #3103 from noon to 7pm for opening day specials and freebies.

B&Gs One Day Only

By popular demand (which proves harrassing owner Nick Bartholomew works, so keep it up) B&G loose meat sandwiches will be featured at this week’s Dandelion Pop-Up. From 11am until it sells out, you can get a bite out of this blast from the past at 1300 Howard. Bartholomew remains in the process of seeking a suitable brick and mortar to sling the sandwiches on the regular, but charitably drops the menu item at Dandelion or his breakfast, lunch, and brunch spot Over Easy for devoted fans.

Juice Cleanse

If you’re still in the process of hitting your health and wellness goals, a local spot has you covered! Check out our recent feature on Clean Juice and the owners’ mission to make healthy eating a family friendly event.

Food Trucks

We are currently in the process of curating a directory of food trucks, and would love your help! Check out our Instagram story highlight @TheReaderOmahaDish and let us know if we’re missing your favorite food truck. We will be creating an easy to access directory for fans of the mobile food for an upcoming issue.
