Scooter’s Coffeehouse and Yoji Frozen Yogurt is open in west Omaha. This is the first co-branded concept of the companies to open in Nebraska. Yoji Frozen Yogurt is a self-serve frozen yogurt concept offering frozen yogurt and a wide variety of toppings. Pick from sour gummy worms, cereals or more traditional toppings like fresh berries and granola. The group is set to open their second co-branded site this week at 22nd and Capehart in Bellevue. House of Loom opened this week in downtown Omaha at 1012 10th street. The House will offer a wide range of events to blend music, dance, art and education while offering craft cocktails. Think of a craft bar as cocktail wizardry using advanced techniques and fresh, house-made ingredients. Chris Engles (formerly of Boiler Room), will lend his expertise as the head bartender. Local Chef Clayton Chapman of The Grey Plume earns environment award from Cooking Light Magazine.  Chef and owner Chapman, was one of only seven recipients of the 2011 Trailblazing Chefs awards and even more impressive, Chapman is only 25 years old.
