Humbugs were nestled all snug in their beds inside Santa’s bag, jingling all the way, when the Grinch stole it, causing the reindeer to laugh with glee, happy to have their load lightened. Frosty tried to prevent the theft and stopped the traffic cop who was directing the Magi; they’d lost their way. Jack Frost was nipping at their noses while, nearby, tiny tots with their eye all aglow were finding it hard to sleep that night. What the Dickens? Joy to the world, the show has come, a bag of tricks packaged by Michael Carleton, James FitzGerald, John K. Alvarez, a spin-off from The Complet Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) nine years ago for Orlando Florida’s Shakespeare Festival. All kinds of seasonal legends get tossed around together and come out hilarious. Locally gifted Theresa Sindelar, Ben Beck, and Bill Grennan drop by for a re-visit. God help us every one.
