Nebraska Wine and Balloon Festival Takes Off
This weekend, Coventry Campus just south of 204th and Q will host the annual Nebraska Wine and Balloon Festival. Your $14 ticket grants you access to the event, a souvenir wine glass, and 5 samples of your choice of beer or wines featured at the event. Hot air balloons, helicopter rides, music, food, and a kidzone make this family-friendly event a summer tradition you can’t miss! Corny But Sweet
This Saturday, Lauritzen Gardens will host a Sweet Corn Festival, celebrating the ubiquitous golden grain in all of its manifestations. The event is free for children under 6, $5 for children 6-12, and $10 for adults. Hayrack rides, cooking demonstrations, a maize maze, kettle corn, and more await you in the scenic gardens .
