The Bellevue Food Pantry has relocated and is seeking donations to stock their shelves. Come for an open house on Saturday, September 1st from 9am to noon. Bring non-perishable food items and tour the new facility at 1910 Hancock in Bellevue! The pantry also accepts donations on Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm. Pantry Director Ron Begg hopes for donations of unopened  rice, oatmeal, cereal, canned vegetables, dry pasta, sauces, soup, and toiletries such as toilet paper, toothbrushes and brown paper bags. The pantry also accepts monetary donations.

Rock The Pop-Up

Rockbrook Village will host A Night in Provence to celebrate the fresh offerings of the Farmer’s Market. Take a break on Wednesday, August 29th from 7-9 pm for a dîner en plein air. The evening will feature talks with local farmers about organic practices and  honor the flavors of cuisine ménagère, or French home cooking. The meal will include local cheeses, meats, and vegetables, as well as olive oil tasting courtesy of Old World Oil & Vinegar. The main course will feature Basque Chicken, Shoulder of Lamb Provençale, Griddle Cooked Mushrooms with Herb Butter, Zucchini and Tomato Gateau, and Duchesse Potatoes with a dessert of Apple Tart. Optional wine pairings will be provided by Corkscrew Wine and Cheese. Reserve your spot by calling Andrea Carson at 402-390-0890.
