Get Yer Brew On! at the 3rd Annual Omaha Beer Fest 2013

Held at the lovely Stinson Park at Aksarben Village (67th and Center) on June 7th and June 8th “celebrating all things American craft beer.”

Omaha Beer Fest is in celebration of Nebraska’s growing craft beer culture. There will be over 100 beers from 50 American Breweries there for the sampling. The event runs Friday night from 5:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

General Admission is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. There are $10 designated driver tickets available at the door, which include 3 non-alcoholic drink tickets. Included with the admission is a 4 oz tasting glass for unlimited amount of 2 oz tasting each, live music, and admission to Beer Academy sessions.

Soon to Open: Kitchen Table

Opening by Month’s end, Kitchen Table is located at 1415 Farnam St.

They describe their dining experience as “Real food made from scratch using the best local ingredients we can find. We are here for lunch, snacks all day, or stop in and pick up dinner on your way home. Beer and wine available on tap along with sodas & cider.”

Kitchen Table will be open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be vegetarian options as well. To keep up with the latest news and menu’s from Kitchen Table, visit www.kitchentable.com.
